Help Raise Funds for Whiskers & Co Rescue! 

WA Cellars is kindly helping Whiskers & Co Rescue raise funds for our beloved cats in need.  A portion of each bottle sold from Whiskers & Co Rescue Wine Fundraising will be donated to our cause. Just in time for the festivities ahead. We thank you for the support! 

Cara and Gertie are 2 little fighters, found at a car park, in the hope of finding shelter. A rescue plan was set up with local neighbours who successfully took the girls out of the cold streets. Their sad beginning turned into a healing journey. The girls have been receiving the proper treatment, including weeks of antibiotics, a caloric diet, eye and parasite treatment. They are feeling safe and warm, receiving lots of care from their foster carer.  

Unfortunately, due to an infection not treated in time, their eyes are compromised.

Cara is getting ready for an enucleation of her left eye. We are hoping Gertie's sight will be safe, some ulceration has been formed. 

We ask for your help through donations to assist Whiskers to pay for their medication and surgery, thank you.

Urgent vet treatments:

- Mick from Heckenberg needs dental work +/-$500.

- Jane from Illawong needs dental work +/-$500.

We have a certain urgency to rescue these cats as the only feeder/carer in Heckenberg is moving to a nursing home.

We currently need:

- FOSTER CARERS willing to foster kittens and adult cats with different personalities (playful, friendly, shy, scared) and healthy conditions (healthy, FIV+, with cat flu).

- DONATIONS so a full vet work can be provided to these cats (check up, fiv/felv test, vaccination, microchip, desexing, flea and worm treatment) plus any extra treatments (e.g dental, flu medication).
